Volunteers Needed for Fall Concert

The Poway High School Choir Boosters needs your help!

We are looking for parents that can help out at our fall concert.  We know you all want to watch your student perform, we do have positions available before and after the concert.  We have asked other Booster organization for help during the concert and the Choir Boosters are looking for parents that would be willing to volunteer at a band event or a theater event.

If you are interested in the volunteer swap program please contact our Volunteer Chairperson, Dana Hamson at dana.hamson@gmail.com.

How can you help out?

We are always looking for parents that are willing to help.
As you can imagine it takes a lot of parent support to help our Director with our award winning choir.
We have some positions that are a couple hours a month and others that are a few times a year. Choose the best option for your and your family.

Some of the options are Choir Representatives, Backstage Parents, Chaperoning, Concession Sales, Baskets Ticket Sales, Fundraising, Drivers to workshops or festivals. We have several committees that have an opening for our 2017-2018 school year.
Have questions about any of the positions and what goes along with it?  Please contact the Booster Board at powayhschoralboosters@gmail.com or you may contact any other Choral Booster Board member listed here .

Megan's Law

Megan’s Law Background Check: Each volunteer must have a current Megan’s Law Background Check on file with the specific school site office. Volunteers need only fill out one Megan’s Law form with the schools listed. Volunteers only need to fill out the Megan’s Law form and be cleared once. You do not need to fill out a new form for each school year. If you have volunteered at another school in PUSD, and wish to make a school site change — please notify the office and fill out the Transfer Request for Megan’s Law.

Volunteer Code of Conduct: Volunteers must have a Volunteer Code of Conduct form on file at each site they volunteer at.

You will find a complete list of all volunteer forms and additional information about procedures and policies listed on the Poway District Website.
