Poway is recognized as one of the most outstanding choral organizations in Southern California.
We have a limited number of tickets for the show, tickets are sold on a first come first served basis.
It’s easy to join the choir! Stop by the Choir Room N1-109 and talk to Ms. Schemmel, our Choral Director. She will determine which is the most appropriate choir for you. Once you know what choir you should sign up for, you will need to go the counseling office or add it to your CRF for the next trimester.
There are no specific charges to join the Poway High School Choirs. We ask our choir families for voluntary contributions, in addition, we ask the students, parents and friends to help us with fundraising for expenses not covered by the Poway High School District. We are a group of parent volunteers that support the Director and the Choral Program. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established to raise funds so the Poway Choir can continue to excel. Anyone with a love of choir can come and be a part of our booster organization. We are the extra hands that are needed to keep our choir program strong.
We depend on Volunteers in so many ways. In addition to the Booster Board and committee chairpersons we have over 70 opportunities each year for you to help out. How would you like to help? Fundraising, chaperoning, driving students, ticket sales, mailings – you name it and we are sure to find a spot so you can help.
